Guidelines for manuscripts submission
- Abstract
Write a concise summary of the study, not more than 350 words. Include the background, purpose, methods, key findings, and conclusion. Begin on a new page with the heading “Abstract” centered. After the abstract, list 3–5 relevant keywords. Start the line with Keywords: in italics, followed by the words separated by commas. - Introduction
Introduce the topic by providing background information and context. Clearly state the research problem, objectives, and the purpose of the study. Explain the relevance or significance of the work and briefly mention what the study hopes to achieve. - Methodology
Describe the research design and how the study was conducted. Include information on the sample or data sources, tools or instruments used, data collection procedures, and data analysis methods. Mention any ethical approvals or considerations if applicable. - Results
Present the findings of the study in a clear and logical sequence. Use tables and figures as needed, making sure to refer to them in the text. Do not interpret the findings in this section; only report what was observed or measured. - Discussion
Interpret the results and explain their implications. Compare your findings with previous studies and theories. Highlight the significance of your results, any unexpected outcomes, limitations of the study, and suggestions for future research. - Conclusion
Summarize the main findings and their relevance. Restate the importance of the study and provide any concluding thoughts or recommendations. Keep it brief and focused. - References
Start a new page with the heading “References” centered. List all sources cited in the paper using APA 7th edition format. Arrange entries in alphabetical order by the authors’ last names and apply a hanging indent. - Appendices (if applicable)
Include any supporting material such as questionnaires, raw data, or supplementary information. Label each appendix clearly (e.g., Appendix A, Appendix B).

Review Process
At Frontline Professionals Journal, we are committed to upholding the highest standards of academic publishing. Every submitted manuscript undergoes a transparent and rigorous review process as outlined below:
- Initial screening
All manuscripts are first screened by the editorial team to ensure compliance with journal guidelines, scope, and basic quality standards (e.g., structure, clarity, and originality). - Plagiarism and AI check:
Submitted papers are checked for plagiarism and potential AI-generated content using reliable detection tools. Manuscripts that fail this stage will be returned to the authors. - Peer review:
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are sent for double-blind peer review, where both reviewers and authors remain anonymous. Each manuscript is typically reviewed by at least two qualified reviewers. - Review outcome:
Based on the reviewers’ comments, the manuscript may receive one of the following decisions:
- Accept
- Minor revision
- Major revision
- Reject

Revision and resubmission
Authors are expected to revise their manuscripts in line with reviewers’ suggestions and resubmit within the given timeframe. Revised manuscripts may be re-evaluated by the same or new reviewers.
- Final decision
The Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision based on the reviewers’ recommendations and the quality of the revised manuscript.
- Proofreading and publication
Accepted manuscripts undergo copyediting and proofreading before final publication online and in print.
We strive to complete the review process within 2 weeks, depending on reviewer availability and the nature of revisions.

Article Processing Charges (APC)
To support open access publishing and maintain the quality of our editorial and review processes, authors are required to pay an Article Processing Charge (APC) upon acceptance of their manuscript.
The APC is as follows:
- ₦50,000 for authors based in Nigeria
- $50 for international authors
This fee covers editorial handling, peer review, typesetting, indexing, and permanent online hosting of the article.
There are no submission charges, and payment is only requested after the manuscript is accepted for publication.
In special cases such as invited papers or author hardship, discounts or waivers may be considered upon request.

Peer Review Policy
All manuscripts submitted to the Frontline Professionals Journal undergo a double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality, originality, and relevance of the content. In this process, both the identities of the reviewers and the authors are kept confidential.
Each manuscript is first evaluated by the editorial team to ensure it fits the scope and meets basic submission standards. Suitable submissions are then sent to at least two independent reviewers with expertise in the relevant field.
Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on clarity, originality, scientific accuracy, and contribution to the field. Their feedback may lead to one of the following outcomes: acceptance, minor revision, major revision, or rejection.
The final decision is made by the Editor-in-Chief based on the reviewers’ recommendations. Authors are notified promptly and given a chance to revise and resubmit if required. The journal aims to complete the peer review process within 2 weeks of initial submission.
Open Access Policy
The Frontline Professionals Journal is committed to providing free and unrestricted access to all published articles. This means that all content is available online without any subscription or payment barriers, allowing readers worldwide to read, download, and share research freely.
Authors retain the copyright to their work while granting the journal the right to publish and distribute their articles. This open access model promotes wider dissemination and greater impact of research findings.

Conflict of Interest Policy

Plagiarism and Ethical Policy
At Frontline Professionals Journal, we uphold the highest standards of academic honesty and ethical publishing. Withdrawal Policy
At Frontline Professionals Journal, we understand that authors may sometimes need to withdraw their manuscript after submission. The following guidelines outline the withdrawal process and conditions to ensure clarity and fairness for all parties involved.
- Withdrawal Before Peer Review
Authors may request to withdraw their manuscript before the peer review process begins. This request should be made in writing to the editorial office as soon as possible. No penalties will apply at this stage. - Withdrawal During or After Peer Review
If an author wishes to withdraw the manuscript after the review process has started or is completed, they must provide a valid reason in writing. Withdrawal requests at this stage are subject to editorial approval and may not always be granted. - Withdrawal After Acceptance or Publication
Once a manuscript is accepted or published, withdrawal is generally not allowed. In exceptional cases, such as discovery of errors or ethical issues, the journal will consider appropriate actions such as corrections, retractions, or notices of concern, following standard publishing ethics. - Fees and Charges
Authors who withdraw their manuscript after peer review or acceptance may be liable for any administrative or processing fees incurred by the journal, as specified in the journal’s fee policy. - Ethical Responsibility
Authors are expected to submit their manuscripts only when they are confident in their content and intent to publish. Repeated or unjustified withdrawals may affect future submissions to the journal. - How to Request Withdrawal
